For example, when you´re playing your C harmonica in straight harp position, you are playing in C major. The songs in this book will sound very traditional when palyed in Straight harp position
Cross Harp: means that you are playing a perfect fourth (4 notes) below the key of your harmonica. So, when you play your C harmonica in cross harp position, you are playing in G major. " Cross harping" will give the Christmas songs in this book a country / western flavor
